There is no avoiding the internet! The Internet has become a necessity for many programs and class work in and outside of school. BUT, we can help our kids be as safe as possible online.
Facilitator, Kayla Hamilton, MHC-LP, is hosting sessions on November 11th for different age groups (kids, tweens, and teens.)
Each session is virtual.
Your child will learn age-appropriate information about navigating and interacting with others on the internet safely. Topics will include but are not limited to:
- sharing information/privacy
- cyberbullying
- using social media
- boundaries
- scams/viruses
- Safe communication
- reporting concerning material
- sexting (for tween/teen groups only)
Space is limited to 8 people per group. The cost is $50 per person—partial scholarships are available.
Register by November 3rd. To register, email [email protected] or [email protected]
It is time to ask for help when stress and anxiety become excessive in your life.
The session for children ages 8-11 years old is from 9:30am to 11:30 am.
The session for tweens ages 12-14 years old is from 12 pm to 2 pm.
