The Daughters of Ériu
A Woman's Soul Retreat to Mystical Ireland
If you are a woman who feels called to release old patterns, reconnect with your soul, and awaken ancient wisdom within, The Daughters of Ériu invites you to step into sacred space. Held during Samhain—the Celtic new year, when the veil between worlds is thinnest—this retreat in mystical Ireland offers sacred ceremony, connection with the land, and deep shadow work with the parts of us we have long tucked away or learned to silence. We honor the footsteps of those who came before us, drawing on the wisdom carried through the ancestral lines. Join us as we walk these ancient paths to honor feminine wisdom and the wholeness within that has long awaited our return.

Daughters of Ériu
It’s not just a name—it is a call to those who remember, and to those who are ready to.
Ériu, the sovereignty goddess of this land, invites us to return—to ourselves, to the stories buried in our bones, to the wisdom of our feminine lineages, and to the land that has never stopped singing.
This retreat is an invitation into sacred relationship—with the land, with your soul, and with the ancient feminine that lives in all of us. In the presence of sacred stones, holy wells, and the wild beauty of Sligo, we listen for what has been waiting to rise: the truth of who we are and the power we carry.
This is a space for remembrance, reclamation, and reconnection—to walk as a daughter of Ériu is to walk in sovereignty, rooted in the rhythms of the earth and guided by the whisper of ancestral wisdom.
As the veil thins at Samhain (Oct 31st) and the season turns, we gather on this sacred land to listen, to heal, and to step fully into our next becoming.

You walk through the soft, dewy grass, the misty Irish air wrapping around you like a blessing. As you approach the ancient stone circle, the land hums beneath your feet—the energy here feels awake, timeless, sacred.
Surrounded by towering megaliths, you lower yourself to the earth, silence enveloping you like a cloak. The stones hold stories older than memory, and the air is thick with reverence, carrying the pulse of the ancestors and the wisdom of the ages.
As your hand meets the cool surface of the stone, something stirs within—a quiet remembering, a sacred connection to the earth, the lineage you carry, and the self you are becoming.
Knocknashee – Hill of the Fairies
Carrowkeel Megalithic Site
In this powerful, sacred place, you breathe deeply, allowing the land to hold you as old wounds gently loosen their grip. With each exhale, space opens—soft, spacious, and alive with possibility. You feel yourself becoming grounded, not just to the earth beneath you, but to the truth within you.
As the sun dips low, casting golden light across the hills, a stillness settles into your bones. The wind moves through the tall grasses like a whisper from the ancestors, and with every breath, the energy of this place weaves itself into your being.
A deep sense of belonging rises—rooted in the land, in your body, and in the sacred path unfolding before you.
Here, among the ancient stones, you remember: you are whole, you are held, and you are home.
The Land of Heart’s Desire
In the wild and untamed West of Ireland lies a land that stirs the soul — Sligo, known as the Land of Heart’s Desire. It’s here, among rolling hills, ancient sites, and sacred waters, that we invite you to embark on a journey of profound transformation and spiritual awakening. This is a place where the land holds timeless energies, ancient wisdom, and a deep connection between the earth and spirit.

Come journey through ancient sites & spiritual alignment!
An Invitation Home

If you’ve been feeling disconnected, stuck, or like you’ve lost touch with yourself, Daughters of Ériu offers a sacred pause—an opportunity to step out of your daily routine and reconnect with the part of you that’s been waiting to be seen and heard. Hello, I’m Meg, and I’m passionate about guiding women through deep emotional and spiritual transformations. My journey began like many others, searching for deeper meaning. In my 20s, I traveled solo through Ireland, where the beauty of the land and its spirit connected me to a sense of empowerment I hadn’t felt before.
Discovering the Power of the Land
My travels were more than just seeing Ireland’s landscapes; they helped me reconnect with lost parts of myself. The ancient sites and rolling hills brought clarity, and alongside this, I discovered the healing power of somatic therapies and the importance of community in trauma healing.
Healing & Guiding Others
This personal transformation led me to explore deeper healing methods like Brainspotting, EMDR, and EFT Tapping, and to incorporate psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy into my work. Through sacred rituals and ceremonies, I help women trust their inner healing wisdom and reconnect with their personal power.
Ireland As A Sacred Place
For me, Ireland is more than a place—it’s a partner in healing. The mystical landscapes have played a pivotal role in my own healing, and I can’t wait to share the magic of this sacred land with you on this retreat.

Amanda Conway
Celtic Shamanic Healer
Spiritual Guide
Hi, I’m Amanda, a Celtic shamanic healer and spiritual guide deeply rooted in Ireland’s sacred landscapes. Growing up near ancient sites fueled my passion for the Earth’s wisdom and the power of transformation. I founded Ireland’s only Mandala Meditation course, blending ancient Celtic traditions with modern mindfulness practices. As a Reiki Master and sound healer, I’m honored to guide others through transformative journeys of deep emotional, spiritual, and energetic healing.
Working with Sacred Plant Medicine
A core part of my practice involves working with sacred plant medicines like cacao and hawthorn. These plants are powerful allies in opening the heart and connecting with our emotional truths. Growing up near the mystical Hill of the Fairies, I’ve always felt a profound connection to the land and its spirits, which influences every ceremony I lead.
Empowering Women through Ceremony
Guiding women through transformational journeys is my greatest joy. Through ceremony, sound healing, and energy work, I help women rediscover their personal power and spiritual connection. Sharing the magic of the fairies and the healing energy of the land is a privilege, and I’m passionate about creating spaces for deep healing and spiritual growth.

Sunday, Octeber 26: Opening Ceremony
After breakfast, we’ll journey from Dublin to our retreat center and gather for our Opening Circle, a combined Fire and Hawthorne Ceremony rooted in Celtic tradition. As we sit in sacred space, we’ll release what no longer serves us into the flames and call on the protective, heart-centered wisdom of the Hawthorne. This powerful ritual marks our arrival—body, mind, and spirit—welcoming the transformation ahead.
Monday, October 27: Creativity and Healing
We begin the day by co-creating a Flower Mandala, a collective work of art made from natural elements. This sacred practice invites you to offer your intentions to the Earth, each flower or leaf placed as a prayer of gratitude, healing, or hope—woven together into a living tapestry of our shared energy.
In the afternoon, we’ll gather for a Healing Circle, creating space to release, reflect, and deepen into the journey that is unfolding.
We’ll close with a Sound Bath, allowing the healing vibrations to soothe your nervous system and gently integrate the day’s experiences.
Today is an invitation to soften, connect, and open more fully to the wisdom of the land and your own unfolding transformation.
Tuesday, October 28: Journey into the Heart of the Land
Today, we venture out for a day immersed in nature and ancient mystery. Our path leads us on a sacred hike to a hill long honored in myth and folklore and to an ancient sacred well—places where the veil between worlds feels thin and the spirit of the land speaks in whispers.
Throughout the day, we’ll engage in quiet rituals and simple offerings, connecting to elemental energies and ancestral wisdom. Ceremonial moments with earth and water will guide us inward—inviting release, renewal, and reverent gratitude.
This is a day of embodied presence, deep listening, and honoring what is both seen and unseen.
Wednesday, October 28: Truth in the Bones
Today we journey to sacred sites that invite reflection and connection—places where the stories of the land still echo. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to explore local culture, with time in town to wander, shop, or simply enjoy the pace of the day.
In the afternoon, we return home for a Healing Circle centered around deep emotional release and personal empowerment. Through transformative breathwork and somatic practices, you’ll be guided to meet your shadow self with compassion—releasing stored rage, grief, and long-held patterns that are ready to shift.
Held in a safe, supportive space, this powerful circle invites you to step more fully into your strength and truth—emerging with greater clarity, freedom, and connection to self.
A nourishing day—balancing outward discovery with inward restoration.
Thursday, October 30: Gathering the Threads
We begin the day with a visit to a local waterfall, where we’ll engage in a gentle ritual to connect with the cleansing energy of flowing water. This simple, sacred moment invites renewal and presence as we honor the ever-moving nature of healing.
Afterward, we’ll head into Sligo Town, where you’ll have free time to explore, shop, enjoy a meal, or soak in the local culture at your own pace.
This evening, we gather for an Integration Circle—a space to reflect on what has shifted, what has softened, and what now feels more alive within you. This is a time to name your experiences, anchor the insights that have emerged, and begin weaving them into the life that awaits you beyond this container.
Rather than leaving something behind, you’ll be invited to carry what has been awakened—gently, intentionally—into your daily rhythms, relationships, and way of being.
Friday, October 31: Honoring Samhain: Thresholds and Renewal
We begin the day with a sunrise ceremony where we gather at the edge of Samhain (sow-un), when the veils thin and the land speaks more freely. Timed with the sacred alignment at Carrowmore on October 31st—when the light enters the ancient cairn—we cross a threshold into remembrance. This is a retreat rooted in myth, carried by ritual, and held by the land.
We’ll spend the afternoon in a nearby seaside town, where you’ll have space to wander, reflect, or indulge in optional offerings such as seaweed baths, massages, or facials at a coastal spa.
As evening falls, we gather around the fire for an additional Samhain Ceremony, honoring what is ending, what is unseen, and what is ready to be carried forward. This ritual space offers a powerful close to the day—one of reverence, remembrance, and deepened connection to the mystery.
Saturday, Nov 1: Wisdom of the Land, Rhythm of the Soul
Today, we travel to an ancient and energetically potent site—an invitation to connect with the land, your intuition, and the quiet guidance rising from within. Here, you’ll be supported in opening to ancestral wisdom and personal insight through practices that deepen presence and inner clarity.
Later, we return home for a Breathwork Circle, offering space to move energy, release what’s ready to shift, and ground into your body.
In the evening, we gather for a Cacao Ceremony followed by Ecstatic Dance—a celebration of aliveness, connection, and personal truth. Through ritual, rhythm, and movement, you’ll be invited to express and embody all that’s been unfolding on this journey.
Sunday, November 2: Closing Circle
The retreat concludes with a cirle to share and learn how to continue your healing and spiritual journey, ensuring you leave confident and deeply connected to your inner wisdom and the ancient land of Ireland.
Throughout the retreat, Meg and Amanda will guide you through each sacred ceremony and practice, helping you release old emotional patterns, embrace new insights, and return home with clarity, empowerment, and a deeper connection to both yourself and the ancient Celtic wisdom that has guided this journey.

Don’t forget your personal toiletries, any spiritual tools you use in your practice (journal, stones, oracle cards, etc.), and a power adapter for electronics (you’ll need a Type G plug like this one).
A detailed packing list will be provided after registration to help you feel fully prepared and at ease.
October in Ireland brings crisp air, shifting skies, and a landscape alive with autumn beauty. Temperatures generally range from 45°F to 57°F (7°C to 14°C), with frequent light rain, misty mornings, and overcast days. You can expect cool, damp conditions—so layering is key, and waterproof clothing and footwear are essential. While storms are uncommon, weather can change quickly, making it wise to be prepared for everything from sunshine to soft drizzle. The days grow shorter, but the soft golden light of autumn creates a magical atmosphere—perfect for deep inner work and sacred connection to the land.
You can exchange money at your local bank before departure, at the airport, or upon arrival in Ireland. Most ATMs in Ireland accept U.S. bank cards and will dispense Euros directly—often at a favorable exchange rate. Be sure to notify your bank of your international travel dates to avoid any holds on your card. Credit cards are widely accepted in most places, but it’s helpful to have some cash on hand for smaller shops, cafés, or tips.
Can I use my phone in Ireland?
Yes, you can use your cell phone in Ireland, but it depends on your carrier and phone setup. Most major U.S. carriers—such as T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T—offer international roaming plans. Depending on your plan, you may have access to unlimited texting, 2G data, and low-cost calling while in Ireland. Some plans charge extra for high-speed data or international calls, so be sure to check with your provider before you travel.
Can I add a SIM card or eSIM?
If your phone is unlocked and compatible with GSM networks (which most modern phones are), you can use a local Irish SIM card. SIM cards are available at the airport, convenience stores, or online. If your phone doesn’t have a physical SIM port, you can purchase and activate an eSIM online before your trip.
Do I need to turn on roaming?
Yes—if you’re using your existing U.S. plan abroad, make sure international roaming is enabled in your phone’s settings. If you prefer to avoid roaming charges, you can keep your phone in airplane mode and use Wi-Fi for calls and messages through apps like WhatsApp, FaceTime, or Skype.

Is it safe to travel to Ireland and return to the U.S. in the current political climate?
Yes—Ireland remains a safe and welcoming destination for travelers. The U.S. Department of State currently assigns Ireland a Level 1 Travel Advisory, recommending only normal precautions. The country has a stable political environment, and travel throughout Ireland is generally smooth and low-risk. As with any destination, it’s wise to stay aware of your surroundings, follow local news, and practice standard safety measures while exploring.
When returning to the U.S., most travelers will experience no issues. However, recent policy updates have led some countries, including Ireland, to issue travel advisories in response to U.S. domestic laws—particularly those affecting transgender and nonbinary individuals. For example, travelers with an “X” gender marker or documentation that differs from their sex assigned at birth are advised to check current entry policies and contact the U.S. Embassy in Dublin if they have concerns.
Additionally, certain U.S. states have passed legislation permitting law enforcement to request proof of immigration status. All travelers should carry proper identification and documentation, and stay informed about any state-specific policies that may impact their return.
In general, with thoughtful preparation and awareness, traveling to and from Ireland remains a safe and enriching experience. We are here to support you with guidance and updates as needed throughout your journey.
🌍 1. Purchase Carbon Offsets
You can support projects that reduce or capture carbon emissions—like reforestation, renewable energy, and methane capture. Trusted organizations include:
Sustainable Travel International
You simply calculate the emissions from your flight and donate accordingly.
🌱 2. Support Rewilding or Tree-Planting Projects
Look for local or global organizations planting native trees, restoring natural ecosystems, or rewilding landscapes. Some travelers choose to donate to Irish land preservation efforts or support native tree planting as part of their journey.
✨ 3. Travel Light & Mindfully
Reduce weight in your luggage (lighter planes use less fuel), bring a reusable water bottle, and minimize single-use plastics while traveling.
🧘♀️ 4. Weave Earth-Honoring Ritual Into Your Journey
Part of spiritual travel is conscious reciprocity. We will be engaging in this action throughout the retreat. You may wish to bring your own offering to the land (like biodegradable flowers or a prayer), dedicate part of your trip to mindful silence in nature, or perform a grounding ritual with gratitude for the Earth’s support of your journey.
We know saying yes to a retreat like this can bring up all kinds of feelings—excitement, uncertainty, even fear. Here are some common concerns we’ve heard, and our heartfelt responses:
“I’m not sure I can take the time off.”
This retreat is a deep investment in your well-being. Taking time to step away from daily responsibilities can help you return with greater clarity, energy, and resilience—not just for yourself, but for the people who depend on you.
“I don’t think I’m spiritual enough for this.”
You don’t need to subscribe to any particular belief system to join us. This retreat meets you exactly where you are and gently invites you to explore spirituality at your own pace, in your own way.
“I’m concerned about the intensity of the emotional work.”
The healing work we do together can be powerful and bring up big feelings—that’s part of the process. But you won’t be doing it alone. The retreat is intentionally designed with nervous system support, grounding tools, and skilled facilitators to help you move through whatever arises safely and compassionately.
“I’m worried I won’t fit in.”
This is a welcoming, inclusive space for women from all backgrounds, identities, and life paths. Whether you’re new to inner work or a seasoned seeker, you’ll be met with warmth, respect, and genuine community.
“I’m not comfortable sharing in groups.”
There’s no pressure to speak or share before you’re ready. Personal reflection is a core part of the retreat, and everyone’s journey unfolds in its own time. Quiet presence is equally honored.
“I’m worried about being away from my family.”
Taking this time for yourself isn’t selfish—it’s necessary. When you return more grounded, nourished, and connected, your loved ones benefit, too. You come back with more to give.
“Is it really worth the investment?”
Only you can know what your healing is worth—but this retreat is designed to create lasting transformation, not just temporary relief. The tools, insights, and shifts you experience will stay with you long after the retreat ends.

Just imagine it—a full week devoted to reconnecting with yourself, surrounded by Ireland’s mythic landscapes and a circle of like-hearted women on a similar path. This is going to be a transformative experience like no other.
My vision? It’s simple: a beautiful blend of magic, healing, and a dash of playfulness—because healing doesn’t always have to be so serious, right? We’ll dive deep into our hearts, let the ancient Irish land hold us, and maybe even share a belly laugh or two as we uncover pieces of ourselves we’ve long forgotten. We’ll make space for transformation, but also for joy, connection, and rest. And yes—there will be plenty of tea and cozy chats (because no retreat is complete without them!).
Picture this: mornings in peaceful meditation or walking the wild, fresh Irish land. Hours spent visiting sacred sites that pulse with ancient wisdom (yes, there might even be fairies involved!). Evenings around a warm peat fire, sharing stories, letting sound bowls wash over us, and dancing our healing into existence. No pressure, no expectations—just you, me, Amanda, and a beautiful circle of women showing up exactly as we are.
I truly believe in the power of community and shared experience. This retreat isn’t just about healing (though there will be plenty of that); it’s about joy, sisterhood, and the little sacred moments that remind us why we’re here. So bring your messy, beautiful, radiant self—because I can’t wait to meet her.
We’re going to make some magic together. I promise.
Le grá and Sin-é,
With love and So it is,
Meg
