Our business is growing rapidly, and we now need the help of a New York Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our close-knit and heart-centered team of therapists. As a therapist with Breathing Space, you will have flexibility over your schedule, enjoy company benefits and training, and be engaged in case consultations. Your caseload will be built from our well-established referral networks, along with you promoting yourself on local therapist Facebook groups. We offer Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy as well, and the candidate we hire must be willing and excited to be trained and offer legal psychedelic therapy to clients.

We are looking for therapists who have/are:
- Strong integrity and honesty.
- Committed to their own mental health
- Committed to anti-racism and inclusion.
- Are a LICENSED Mental Health Counselor in the State of New York. (Trust us, we would love to hire other licensures, but NY does not allow it!)
- Strong clinical and written skills
- Looking for a full-time caseload – 18-20 per week
- Must be open to Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy
- Couples work a plus
- Group work a plus
- EFT Tapping, Brainspotting, EMDR, or any other body-centered therapies are a HUGE PLUS!
This is a hybrid work position. Offices are in Erieville and Syracuse and you must have in-person availability throughout the month for Psychedelic dosing sessions.
Please note that this is a W-2 position and only for a New York State LMHC. We cannot consider any other licensure due to NY State laws.
