Therapist
Currently accepting Couples, Parents of Childrend with eating disorders and business Executives
I am a therapist dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families achieve deeper self-understanding and meaningful growth. My approach is rooted in compassion, creating a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to explore their inner worlds.
Area of Focus
Caregivers of Children with Eating Disorders: Supporting a child with an eating disorder can be overwhelming. I provide caregivers with guidance and coping tools, offering a compassionate space to explore their own emotions, strengthen resilience, and develop effective strategies to support their child’s recovery.
Business Professionals: For those navigating high-stress environments, I offer a space to work through challenges unique to business and leadership roles. We focus on stress management, work-life balance, and emotional resilience, helping clients to maintain mental well-being while pursuing career goals.
My Approach
I primarily use Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, guiding clients to connect with their core, centered self. This method empowers clients to make choices from a place of calm and confidence, helping them navigate life’s challenges with clarity.
Qualifications
I received my Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Le Moyne College. I also have an MBA from Syracuse University and my BA from Hamilton College, where I majored in Comparative Religion. I wrote and published Love, Crowd Out, Forgive, Accept: A Guide to Supporting a Loved One with Anorexia in 2022. My primary qualification, however, is my life experience. In learning to navigate and grow in my roles and relationships, I have become increasingly curious and compassionate, and these traits more than any specific learning are key to my effectiveness as a therapist.
My Ideal Client
My ideal client wants to get to know themselves better and is willing to look internally with curiosity and compassion. You are willing to do the work and want to make the work play so you can do it more easily, more often.
