Marketing Lead, blog & newsletter

Hi! It is great to see that you are here. One of the biggest steps is asking for support when we need it. I truly believe that therapy can be a healing process whether it is for things that occur day to day or heavier experiences we encounter.

I utilize telehealth sessions, as well as in-person sessions in Syracuse, NY.

Area of Focus

Working with teens, and young adults who have anxiety, panic attacks, and depression, I aim to provide support, active listening, and empathy to build a strong relationship for healing. I enjoy working on creative coping skills with my client to find ones that are tailored to their individual needs.

I work closely with those in grief, as it is unique as a fingerprint and can feel isolating. You are not alone, and every emotion is valid as you navigate this experience.

One of my specializations is in geriatric and caregiver mental health. I have over 6 years of experience working in several senior living sites. Personally, I am experienced with caregiving from a young age and gained a close familiarity with Alzheimer’s Disease. My goal is to empower caregivers, empathize, and listen to their concerns while providing resources to help them experience some relief. My work with the geriatric community and any type of caregiver holds a special place in my heart.

My Approach

I am skilled in the use of gestalt therapy, grief work, interpersonal therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). My main style is helping people learn how their thoughts impact their emotions.  I utilize EFT Tapping, mindfulness strategies and work to create a safe space for your healing.

Qualifications

I hold a limited permit for Mental Health Counseling in New York State, under the supervision of Meghan M. Tobin, LMHC.

My Ideal Client

My ideal client is someone who is willing to work to make changes in their life, recognizing that although times may be difficult, change is possible with effort, and caring for yourself. I strongly believe in the power we each hold to heal our lives.  I am here to offer you guidance on that path.

Personal Information

I would describe myself as a highly empathetic, creative person. I love to make things and enjoy utilizing creativity in my work as well as my personal life. I sketch and paint whenever I can. I am a huge animal person and can usually be found playing with my dog or cat. When I have more land, my dream is to have 6 dogs!. I study marine biology for fun and I have always felt very drawn to the ocean and the creatures that reside there. The ocean holds a special place in my heart, but I also love the woods especially in Autumn. I enjoy the peace nature brings to me.
