Hello! Thanks for reading. I’m proud of you for taking this step and reaching out for help. Doing this can be a very difficult task, I am glad that you are here. We all struggle in one way or another. Please let me help you with yours, whatever it may be.
Area of Focus
PTSD/Trauma – I offer art therapy and I am trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to help deal with traumatic experiences.
Anxiety/Depression – I am a Certified Anxiety-Informed professional; we can work on your anxiety and depression in a number of ways – art therapy, mindfulness, guided meditations, CBT, exposure and response therapy – you’re in the driver’s seat.
Self Esteem/Self Confidence Building – I work with individuals in developing their self confidence and self esteem via art therapy, role playing and gestalt techniques.
Play Therapy/Art Therapy – to help with trauma, emotional dysregulation and behavior challenges.
My Approach
As a trauma-informed art therapist and mental health professional, I utilize an eclectic approach to help each unique individual. Along with traditional talk therapy I provide art therapy and I am trained in cognitive process therapy, for trauma. I am also a certified anxiety-informed professional. I provide a safe, non-judgemental, and comfortable healing space for you to process your experience.
Qualifications
I obtained my masters at Edinboro University in PA, with a dual focus on art therapy and mental health counseling. I am a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist and limited permit Mental Health Counselor – I am close to finishing up my hours for the LMHC.
I welcome anyone that wants to feel better, gain insight and wants to put in the work to see positive changes in themselves. I believe that therapy can be beneficial for everyone. Let’s chat.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
I am a very creative, friendly, caring and empowering person. I love talking with people and getting to know them. In my spare time my husband and I enjoy playing video games together, going out for a bite to eat, catching a movie or getting outside. I enjoy creating art, reading, writing and playing with or being lazy with my pets.
