Jennifer Nadler is the founder and director of The Center for Creative Arts & Healing. As a survivor of childhood sexual assault and trauma, she started her own healing journey more than 20 years ago. In addition to utilizing traditional talk therapy, Jennifer discovered the healing power of hands-on experiential modalities such as therapeutic art and EFT Tapping to explore and process her past, present, and future. She earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in secondary and higher education at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York, and has taught in classrooms from elementary school through college. Today Jennifer is a coach who blends a variety of tools such as therapeutic art, journaling, EFT tapping, role play, psychoeducational, and more into individual sessions and support groups. Her passion is to help others explore present life circumstances and future dreams and aspirations to create their own pathway to healing.
My Focus Areas
- Anxiety & Depression
- Body Image & Issues w/ Food & Weight
- Parents of Children with Special Needs
- Grief & Loss
- Clients of any age, including adolescents
It is my goal to instill in every client the knowledge and belief that I accept and appreciate them for exactly who they are, where they have been, and where they want to go. I will meet each client wherever they are and work together in a collaborative partnership with them towards their goals. I want to help clients discover and connect with who they really are through the practice of self-reflection, self-awareness, and self-acceptance.
My approach is not "one size fits all". Every person is unique and comes from a unique set of circumstances. My approach is an eclectic blend that draws from several different modalities to help people discover personal strengths and resources. I am also a big proponent of hands-on modalities, such as therapeutic art, EFT Tapping, journaling, and somatic work.

I live in Syracuse, New York with my husband of 20 years and our teenage son. I also have two fur babies: the best dog on the planet, a yellow lab named Willy, and a gray tiger cat named Zelda who thinks she is also a yellow lab! Things that give me pure joy are traveling and learning new languages and cultures, cooking, painting, singing, swimming, trying new restaurants, the ocean, listening to hard rock and heavy metal.
